And Not Just For Bill Clinton and Gary Hart
Brains and balls are, in a sense, interchangeable:
A recent scientific paper reveals that as sexual selection pressures increase in promiscuous bat species, males evolve larger testes and smaller brains. But in bat species where females remain faithful, males had comparatively smaller testes and larger brains. Conversely, male sexual behavior had absolutely no effect on either brain or testes size.
Because brains and testes are the most metabolically expensive tissues to grow and maintain, the balance between their relative size represents an evolutionary trade-off.
Expensive in all sorts of ways.
UPDATE: I'm not sure where this remark from Cindy Sheehan fits: "And about Bill Clinton . . . . You know, I really think he should have been impeached, but not for a blow job. His policies are responsible for killing more Iraqis that George Bush. I don't understand why to rise to the level of being president of my country one has to be a monster. I used to say that George Bush was defiling the Oval Office, but it's been held by a long line of monsters."
ANOTHER UPDATE: Then there's this:
Pop star Michael Jackson was spotted shopping in a Bahrain mall on Wednesday, hiding his face behind a veil and donning a black robe traditionally worn by women in the Gulf.
So I guess Michael Jackson must be really, reallysmart.
