This won't surprise anyone, but it's almost official: Bush Family Fixer James Baker III and his bipartisan old-dudes group have come up with an amazing new plan for the U.S. military in Iraq. The plan is called "get out of there," although the there is intentionally vague.
Other than the previously leaked bits -- beg America's enemies Iran and Syria for help -- the troop removal plan is the first real evidence that Baker & Hamilton's little group is actually going to get the U.S. troops out of the civil war and (at least) moved to heavily fortified bases outside of insurgent strongholds like, uh, Baghdad.
