Ney pled guilty (in writing) to the usual crimes of conspiracy, bribery and lies -- part of the nearly forgotten (yet ongoing) Jack Abramoff crime spree. The feds say they want him in prison for 27 months, which sure seems soft to us ... but we're old-fashioned conservatives who prefer the guillotine.
