It's sad that Comedy Central takes Bill O'Reilly seriously enough that they bother to debunk his assertion that the audience of the Daily Show is a bunch of "stoned slackers." You'd almost think that they're paranoid or something. But it's true -- an Annenberg survey found that Daily Show viewers are better informed about politics, and Neilsen research says that, compared to O'Reilly Factor viewers, Daily Show viewers are more likely to have completed four years of college. Of course they have -- where else would they pick up that dope habit? As for the O'Reilly Factor audience, they don't do drugs, preferring the natural high that comes from being in a constant state of mind-numbing rage.
