The constant presence of malicious videographers at campaign events has made this one of the most entertaining midterm seasons ever, as this clip of Conrad Burns' now-infamous "taxi drivers by day, terrorist masterminds by night" remarks helps demonstrate. But, of course, most of the credit has to go to Burns himself, who should be followed around by cameras even after his inevitable defeat, for entertainment value alone. The best part is learning that the guy said it twice. The first time, off-the-cuff, sounded so perfect to his ears, hitting just the right note of crazy, that he elaborated a bit the next night, adding that, yes, our sleeping children need to be protected from jihadist cabbies -- no one could've predicted that the terrorists would use Crown Victorias as weapons. No one but Conrad Burns, that is.
