NotedCongressional assclown and unconfirmed cosmic turd Darrell Issa (R-Satan’s Bunghole) is back to his old shenanigans where he opens his mouthhole with gibberish sounds that will likely be proven false by the time you finish reading this post. It must be a day! What is California’s most repulsive gift to society doing this time? More about the IRS, of course. Per The Hill:

The IRS subjected conservative groups already granted tax-exempt status to additional scrutiny during the 2012 election cycle, House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) charged on Monday.

Issa called on a Treasury watchdog already looking into the IRS to investigate the matter, and signaled he would expand his committee’s probe into improper targeting of political groups given the new revelations.

This guy never quits. After being repeatedly embarrassed by previous spouting off at the mouth and being caught in lie after lie after lie, he just keep going, like an Energizer bunny that runs on falsehood and amazingly emits no shame.

And we here at Wonket would also like to file a complaint against the IRS. Every librul person we know -- whether in a blue state or a red state -- gets harassed by the IRS EVERY GODDAM YEAR. Every year, they demand money from us and our friends, and because we only associate with libruls, it must be a targeted conspiracy left over from the Nixon administration, or something. PLEEZE IMVESTIMIGATE because this travesty of selective enforcement to tax paying MUST BE STOPPED. Why is the IRS demanding money from us, and threatening jail time if we don’t comply? We have documentation to back this up. Give us a call, Issa.

Oh wait. Maybe the IRS is just doing its job, and maybe some conservative groups (and possibly librul ones) are not complying with the regulations that come with being a tax-exempt organization. Mebbe, just mebbe, the IRS is trying to root out "fraud" and "abuse." Just a guess here.

Of course, our favorite Legislative Badass, House Oversight Committee Ranking Democrat Elijah Cummings, sent Issa a letter in response to his inquiry. Take it away, Mr. Cummings:

Once again, your letter appears to provide partial and incomplete information and to disregard key evidence that is contrary to your political narrative.

Haha, even Cummings knows that Issa is once again full of shit. Cummings spends the rest of the letter pointing out evidence from the ongoing IRS investigation that contradicts what Issa is saying to the media. Cummings saves his best for the end of the letter:

However, it is unfortunate that you persist in this pattern of selectively releasing quotes instead of conducting a responsible investigation focused on implementing real reforms.  I urge you to focus on obtaining the full set of facts rather than making unsubstantiated allegations.

Seriously, how can you not love this guy? Can Wonket gay marry him? Is blog-on-man action legal in Maryland? We hope so.

The main question here is why the media continues to give Issa any credence at all. How many times does this guy have to be proven to be a lying piece of shit before the media stops covering his baseless allegations? Is there an opening somewhere for a Court Jester, because Issa seems determined to play that role.

If we were in the Obama administration, we would be popping champagne at this point. Because you know that if Issa is investigating you, you must not have done anything wrong.
