Chris Christie was spotted today by CNN's Jake Tapper and photographer Eric Marrapodi wearing cufflinks imprinted with "Don't Panic," the signature slogan from Douglas Adams's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. However, one should not necessarily assume from this that the New Jersey Governor is a hoopy frood or that he has the slightest idea what to do with a pan-galactic gargleblaster. See our shocking photographic evidence after the jump!
First, the photo of the gubernatorial cuffs:
Enhance!
Ladies and gentlemen, that there crown above the words is a dead giveaway. These cufflinks are clearly patterned on a parodyof the old "Keep Calm and Carry On" posters from WWII. We submit to you that these are the cufflinks of a politician who is wearing a good-luck gift, not the cufflinks of a proper fan.
Of course, there's only one way to be sure, and that's to ask him if he knows the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. If he doesn't immediately answer "42," then he is a poseur who should be sentenced to the Total Perspective Vortex, although the fucker would probably clog it all up.

Wait - has anyone heard Christie recite poetry? I'd like him to site in for Garrison Keilor, who is completely incompetent.
"No sense in making less out of something more."
Something much, much more, in fact!
