Does Hollywood Hate Hillary?
We thought Hollywood was supposed to be part of the vast left-wing conspiracy, but, clearly, someone is not reading their memos. First Hillary Clinton's head gets put on Jenna Jameson's body in "Stepford Wives" ad -- maybe it was an attempt to improve her image, who knows? -- now: She's the villain in the soon-to-open remake of "The Manchurian Candidate."
In the film, Meryl Streep plays a manipulative senator (an analog to Angela Lansbury's deliciously bad political stage mother in the original), and a Paramount source tells A Fly on the Wall that Streep "seems like she's playing Senator Hillary, not just any woman senator. It's also something test audiences have commented about."
Fortunately, strings have been pulled and the studio is said to be recutting the film to eliminate the more obvious Hillaryisms. . . which strangely reminiscent of the kind of double-agent propagandizing that the movie warns against.
We'd like to add that Mrs. Clinton is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being we've ever known.
