Funny Internet Videos: Democracy Will Never Recover
Howard Kurtz spends a couple thousand words babbling about YouTube today. His point? Inasmuch as he ever has one, it seems to be something about how people posting funny videos on the internet may or may not permanently change the way political campaigns are run. Because young voters are tired of the same-old rhetoric and obvious manipulation -- they'd much rather see two white guys rap about cupcakes, or maybe that video of Bush singing "Sunday Bloody Sunday."
Anyway, we are totally 100% in agreement with Kurtz. YouTube will change the face of politics forever. Here, from the Maryland Senate race, is the proof:
