G.W. Bush's Hawaiian Chaos Claims Cop's Life
The violence and chaos that followed Air Force One from Asia to Hawaii has claimed the life of Honolulu motorcycle officer Steve Favella.
Favella was one of three chopper cops who crashed in the middle of Bush's motorcade last week as it left Hickam Air Force Base. The White House released a statement saying George W. and Laura Bush were sorry about Favella's death. The 30-year-old policeman leaves behind a wife and four kids.
Other accidents and incidents during the trip including the savage beating of a White House travel official outside a Honolulu bar and a bizarre mechanical failure on Air Force One that caused six tires to simultaneously explode as the jet landed in Vietnam.
