Idiot President Fooled By Prank Phone Call That Wasn't Even Very Good.

John Melendez -- some comedian dude hosts a podcast of some kind, calls himself "Stuttering John" and used to be on Howard Stern show -- is saying he's in trouble with the Secret Service after revealing that he successfully prank called Donald Trump, pretending to be New Jersey Democratic Senator Bob Menendez.
Unfortunately for all of us, he did not do or say anything particularly interesting in said prank call. After about an hour and a half of trying, and putting on a fake English accent in order to pretend to be Sen. Menendez's non-existent assistant "Shawn Moore," he was able to speak to both Jared Kushner and Donald Trump aboard Air Force One. Trump, oddly enough, began the conversation by congratulating "Senator Menendez" on being acquitted of federal corruption charges, saying "You went through a tough, tough situation, and I don't think a very fair situation. But congratulations."
Then, "Senator Menendez asked him when he'd be nominating a new Supreme Court justice, to which Trump responded "10-14 days." Very riveting information indeed!
I don't know. I think if I were to manage to successfully prank Orange Hitler, I hope I'd come up with something a little more interesting then that? So many opportunities there! But it seems that Melendez didn't exactly put a ton of thought into the call, telling CNN "All they had to ask me is what party affiliation is Sen. Menendez, or what state is he a senator of, and I would not have known. But they didn't ask me any of this."
The weird thing about this, however, is that Donald Trump actually knows the guy -- you know, from his many appearances on Howard Stern in which he said many gross things about women? Apparently, he was once quite fond of his schtick.
I made a living at pretending I’m a reporter, which Donald trump knows, & was a fan of, why would he have me arrested for duping him.— John Melendez (@John Melendez) 1530337581.0
In a tweet storm last night, Melendez said that the Secret Service showed up at his door, but went away when he didn't answer.
Sectret service about to arrest me. Unbelievable! They should arrest Jared Kushner for putting the call through, s… https://t.co/paaFvGqQu0— John Melendez (@John Melendez) 1530335831.0
Alright, I didn’t answer & they have left, but my neighbors said they showed their badges.— John Melendez (@John Melendez) 1530336676.0
Weird how the same tricks one uses on Mormon missionaries could so easily thwart the Secret Service? The more you know!
