Last night New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer met rival Tom "Who?" Suozzi (he's the executive of Nassau County. I think it's near Queens.) for their only debate of the primary season. Moderator Dominick Carter ended the hopeless struggle (it loses some suspense when the bald guy is leading by 69 points) with yes-or-no questions about - what else? - the ganja.

CARTER: Would you legalize marijuana for medical use?

SUOZZI: Yes.

SPITZER: No.

That prompted some boos from the Suozzi-friendly crowd. Carter followed up:

MODERATOR: Have you ever smoked marijuana?

SPITZER: Yes.

SUOZZI: Yes.

So he'll smoke it, but he won't let you smoke it if you have tumors. What the hell next? Is he going to start insider trading?
