John Kerry is now considering stretching out the primary "season" ("primary" season?) for an extra month so that he can continue to spend the campaign funds raised prior to becoming the party's official nominee. We know what you're thinking: How can we possibly stand the suspense? When will Kerry start acting like real candidate? Then again, to judge by how people react when Kerry makes a concerted effort to campaign, perhaps this is a good strategy. In fact, he might want to delay the nomination until, say, November 3rd.
