MTV is denying that Logo, their new network aimed at lavender lifestyle, has been timed to piggyback the current gay marriage controversy. As an exec told the NYT, "Truthfully, our timing is really just pure coincidence, and not part of a grand strategy to ride down the aisle with all these many happy couples." Riding down the aisle with them, eh? Well, it must be a job requirement of some kind. We can see the bumper stickers for the corporate retreat now: "Logo execs do it down the gay channel."
According the gay lifestyle expert Senator Rick Santorum, MTV's next venture will be some kind of bestiality channel. We wonder what kind of signing bonus is going to entice that, uhm, staff.
