New Poll Shows Obama On Fast Train To Loserville
A newly released New York Times/CBS News poll suggests the nation's males are no longer totally hot for Barack Obama. Their support has turtled back into a flaccid husk following revelations that the heartthrob candidate sucks at bowling and has an angry black pastor.
Back in February, Obama had a 69 percent favorability rating among Democrats; that has now shrunk to 62 percent. And while he once enjoyed a 16-point advantage over Hillary Clinton among Democrats who were asked who they'd rather have as their party's nominee, that lead is now just 3 points. Worse yet, his support among men has fallen by 20 points.
Will this tragic softening of support make any difference when it comes time to pick a nominee once and for all? Probably not! According to the liberal New York Times, "the events of the last month do not appear to have fundamentally altered the race for the party's nomination or provided what Mrs. Clinton's campaign has been seeking: evidence of a collapse in Mr. Obama's standing or an overwhelming preference voiced for Mrs. Clinton by Democratic voters in polls, developments that could be used to persuade uncommitted superdelegates to sign on with her."
In other words, there is pretty much nothing this guy can do short of publicly raping a crack baby in order to lose the nomination ... which means, in turn, that his inevitability will be his downfall, Hillary Clinton will win by losing, and the nomination will be hers by May 1. BET ON IT.
