Newsom a Little Too Hot to Handle?
San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, best known for marrying gay people and fucking a staffer's wife, endorsed Hillary this summer, became one of her national campaign co-chairs and will be stumping for her again this week when she comes to Northern California to rake in that sweet, sweet campaign cash. But is the charmer really that pro-Hillary, or just really anti-someone else...
Earlier this year, Newsom gave an interview in which he claimed "One of the three Democrats you mentioned as presidential candidates, God as my witness, will not be photographed with me, will not be in the same room as me, even though I've done fundraisers for that particular person not once but twice, because of this issue," (meaning gay marriage) but refused to specify who. The two other candidates mentioned in the article? Barack Obama and Al Gore.
Obama, you might recall, is pro-civil unions but anti-gay marriage. Newsom response to that position was pretty succinct: "Civil Unions are lesser than marriage. Respectfully, for the same reason that Barack Obama and others are not running to get rid of their Marriage Licenses to become civil unions." Of course, Hillary also opposes gay marriage
Aw, does it sound a little like someone is feeling rejected? Poor Gavin. First his wife leaves him, then the staffer he cuckolded quits, then he's gotta stop drinking and now Barack won't even friend him on Facebook.
