Our Albertson's is well stocked with nice checkout folks and baggers who ask if you need help getting stuff out to and into your car ( in 108 degree heat) Stater Bros as well. If you ask for help they walk you to the shelf and find the hidden cereal for you. Also, you can often get steaks cut to order,i.e. thick.
I hope that's true ... but I fear that only more liberal folks skip elections and down-ballot votes because they worry they're "not qualified" and "don't know the candidates."
