Whereas the Iraq-Syria-etc. thing is the equivalent of the Thirty Years war. A nice long struggle where every external power meddles and which royally fucks the region it is fought in.

ICYMI: The Village Voice is dead after its young, super rich trust-fund owner, Peter Barbey, blew all his money on stupid parties and useless crap. Thanks, dick.

Peter Barbey is Presient and CEO of my local newspaper, the Reading Eagle. A few months ago he laid off 20% of the newspapers staff, resulting in a noticeable downturn in quality and quantity.

I have never heard someone say a good word about Peter.

FYI: Many congressional interns don't get paid, forcing them to live in squalor as they do all the dirty work for Congress critters and swamp creatures. #PayOurInterns

Without a doubt, this practically guarantees that the interns come from well to do or wealthy backgrounds.

NBC's Chuck Todd blasted Fox News and the super rich conservative echo chamber in a blistering op-ed where Todd admits being told to entertain conservative bullshit at the risk of being labeled as biased, and called them out for exploiting "the public's lack of knowledge of journalistic conventions" to scare old white people. It's a good op-ed.

Sorry Chuck. It is way to late to try and re-brand yourself. You cannot put the toothpaste back in the tube and you are as guilty as any major commentator for enabling the Trump disaster.

The Boston Globe has finally put the stories about Sen. Elizabeth Warren's heritage to rest in an exhaustive new report that meticulously details how she never got a job based on her race, but Republicans are still calling her racist names.

This is nice, but the picture that the right wing propaganda machine has imprinted in the minds of the cult was completed a while ago. The propaganda machine will have no qualms about triggering this false image in the minds of their followers whenever they see fit to attack Sen. Warren.

I see James Cromwell as Mueller.

I just wanna see the epic tv miniseries event that details the investigation. They won't even have to try very hard to find an actor that resembles Mueller since I'm guessing he is facepalming about 98% of the time...

Someone should do a TV show, a sitcom or something.
