He did an OK thing so we won't even use the Bat Boy pic. We must, of course, remind you of it. In Tallahassee today, Florida Governor Rick Scott offered his outline for legislation meant to address school shootings. Nope, there's no ban on assault weapons or limits on magazine capacity, as student demonstrators have been demanding. But for a Republican in a state whose government is usually just a rubber stamp for the NRA's wish lists, Scott's proposals are at least a first step. Yr Wonkette thinks it's important to pat them on the head when they do something good. Considering it's grifty Medicaid frauder Rick Scott, we hope he won't mind if we wear blue nitrile gloves. No, this doesn't at all mean we support his plan to run for the US Senate.
The 2d amendment protects what we currently want it to protect. Automatic weapons are not protected because they made a law in 1934 to try to eliminate "machine guns". It worked pretty well. As long as you accept that there are some "arms" that the public isn't entitled to, there has to be an arbitrary line drawn between 2d amendment covered and not covered. We just want to move the line.
I don't know if this any consolation, but Rep. Strohm is a critter that we in Oklahoma call a lesser-fuckweasel. That's mainly because he's just doing what I call "Muslim-and-Jew-Hating-Lite."
If you're interested in our major-league fuckweasels, Google up your John Bennett or your Nathan Dahm or, my favorite, Ralph Shortey. Sadly, Shortey (who I think was interviewed on Sam Bee's program) is no longer with us in the sense he has a job. He was a big family values guy who got caught in a motel room with drugs and an underage boy (I know, collective gasp from Wonkettes - my bad, I should have first issued a trigger warning to shield you snowflakes)
He wants to go higher. In a sane world his Medicare fraud would have disqualified him. Not to mention his wife owning interest in the company that sold the insecticide for all the Zika spraying they did in the state.
“Legislative proposals that prevent law-abiding adults aged 18-20 years old from acquiring beer and wine effectively prohibits them from purchasing any alcohol, thus depriving them of their constitutional right to self-medication,” Jennifer Baker, a Beverage Distributors spokeswoman, said in a statement on Thursday.

Rick Scott is not a good guy. He's just gaslighting us.
Just like he always does, he knows none of this will get passed here, but he will look good for proposing it. He has higher political ambitions.
Silkwood shower.
A psychopath?

Good for you and tell him you have many friends who are poised to do the same.
Alice Cooper had a similar one mounted on his vintage car CHP made him remove it.
Seems as if they have neither, goodness or hearts.
Gun debate in the US:
(Swiped from BoingBoing:)
US: I'm on fire
CANADA: jump in the water
US: water won't work, I need more fire
UK: we used water when we caught fire
US: it won't work for us, we like fire too much
US: I'm burning
AUSTRALIA: here is a video of water putting out fire
US: *stuffs fire in pockets*
Point taken.
Yes, he is a fraudster all the way.

They're taking away my freedoms!
