Better you than me. I'd probably spend most of the workout session fighting the urge to drop a 25# plate on his foot.

Careful about the gun jamming. Of couse, I'm expecting a press release from the Glock Company about how their guns <i>don't</i> jam when used properly.

The kid and his family were only <i>relatively</i> nuts by Arizona standards. Oh wait, that kind of works the wrong way for the rest of us.

what's wrong with that? I draw <strike>targets</strike> surveying symbols on former Vice-Presidential candidates' pictures all the time. (Except Bob Dole -- the Nazis, the real ones not Obama/Hitler -- already did that in WWII.)

I would guess that a mentally-unstable individual is suspect to the ideas he hears in the preponderance of the media: that Democratic politicians want the downfall of our country, are a greater threat the Al Qaeda, and that we must do everything humanly possible to 'take back' our country from people that were elected by the voters.

That guess will obviously label me as a opportunistic, America-hating extremist.

The great George Carlin pointed out every time they interview the friends of a mass murder the comment is "He's a loner."

"Of course he's a loner," said Mr. Carlin. "He killed everybody he knew."

On the other hand, today's news isn't all bad:

High court turns away appeal from 'birther' leader

Monday Jan. 10, 2010: WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court has rejected an appeal from a lawyer who has been in the forefront of the challenge to President Barack Obama's citizenship.

The high court on Monday did not comment in refusing to hear the appeal filed by California lawyer and dentist Orly Taitz. She was contesting a $20,000 fine for filing what a federal judge determined was a frivolous lawsuit.

The suit was filed on behalf of Army Capt. Connie Rhodes, who sought to avoid deployment to Iraq by claiming Obama wasn't born in the United States and thus, is ineligible to be president and commander in chief.

I think this is part of a plot by Jan Brewer to make Arizona such a crappy place to live that Mexico will seem like paradise in comparison.

Oh, gee. Whoda thunk that when Repiggies openly advocate the use of "Second Amendment Remedies" in their campaigns and refer to members of Congress as "domestic enemies" something bad could happen. It's always only a matter of time before someone feels vindicated enough to start shooting into crowds of people.

When you call for domestic terrorism, you get domestic terrorism. You own this, little piggies. Your only acceptable response is "This is exactly what we wanted to happen". Your sudden inner reflections and reptilian tears aren't fooling anyone.

And scouring the internet for half-assed examples of "Dems do it too" is only being seen for the pathetic diversion that it really is.

Deal with it.

I’d like to see them pass a law that requires the police to pull over anyone who is crazy. Drivers of cars with stupid bumper stickers, Truck Nutz and really loud stereos should all be detained and tested. Also, anyone driving a pink Mary Kay cosmetics car should just be locked up immediately.
