Just so you know: deportees are still arriving in shackles and handcuffs and Colombia will have to pay around USD 100 million to bring them back here as opposed to… well, free as it was during Biden (who also sent handcuffed deportees here).

And yes, your coffee might’ve increased its price by some trivial amount but Trump’s threats would’ve OBLITERATED whole sectors of the Colombian economy.

Anyways, just to let you know than I’m happy that a threat to our livelihoods by your madman president gave you a laugh and some political points.

Cheers

"On the plus side, the six children on the flight to Brazil reportedly were not shackled. See, America can be humane!"

Sorry, that was just because PATRIOT RESTRAINTS™ hadn't shipped the WeeOnes™ sized shackles that Stephen Miller had ordered as they hadn't been paid due to the WH stopping payment of any and all purchases. Whoops.

The other piece of this shabby puzzle, per Seth Abrahamson, is that Trump chose military flights and did not tell the Colombians they were coming. Entering another country's airspace in military aircraft without advance arrangement is a no-no, and Colombia's response--you can't land here--was reasonable. It was also what Trump wanted, to feed into his pseudocrisis storyline.

Love how the Colombian president referred to Colonel Aureliano Buendía in his response to PAB.

1) It is something so far over the toddler's head that it might as well be in orbit. Around some tiny moon in another galaxy far, far away.

2) I'm re-reading "One Hundred Years of Solitude" at the moment.

Democrats - you don’t have to cooperate, collaborate or enable the Trump Nazi MAGA regime.  Don’t support their economy.  The rich power brokers & corporations worship money.  Don’t buy a new car.  Don’t fly.  Don’t buy any major appliances.  Don’t spend any discretionary money only essentials.

I saw that comment dozens and dozens of times on TikTok last night.

People say they ain't buying shit but the necessities.

An economist I saw in a video on another site pointed to declining consumer confidence and dip in buying that's occurring since December.

People know, even the MAGAts who are claiming PAB is gonna produce a booming economy.

All countries and companies should prepare to shift their products to other markets at the drop of a hat. Trump has shown that depending on the USA market is a bad bet.

Where is Doocy getting cups of coffee for a dollar in this century?

25% of 3.99+ (Starbucks prices) is not a quarter.

It's interesting that Doocy's willing to pay a quarter more for a cup of coffee if they get to shit on brown people, but he won't pay a quarter more for a Big Mac so white peons can receive a living wage.

America is reviled right now, not “respected.” You earn respect, through honesty, integrity and treating people with dignity. Clumsy bullying through threats to hurt other nations while hurting our own isn’t respect. It’s handling international affairs with the United States with special gloves. Handle with care, the so-called greatest free nation on earth is insecure, spiteful and cruel.
