HERO Uh oh, are Devin Nunes's dumb days as the dumb chair of the House Intelligence Committee over? Probably not, but his counterpart on the committee, Democratic ranking member Adam Schiff, has officially had it with Nunes running to the White House
"I know I've made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal. I've still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the mission. And I want to help you."
The party loyalty was engineered. Money is handed out depending on obedience. This is why it doesn't matter whether an individual has morals, being a Republican means they give up their own morality for groupthink. If you are disobedient, money is cut off and you get primaried by someone with a lot of backing.
... wishing you all the best re: the job interview (but if you're anything like your online presence, I'd say you've got it in the bag). I will be in Amsterdam and then Germany in a few weeks, where spargelfest is a favourite part of our annual visits - looking forward to trying the Holland version! Wait a second - is that why white asparagus is best served with Hollandaise sauce? It's all coming together now...
Regular prison. Nobody who takes such an enthusiastic and swashbuckling lead in the obstruction of justice department can later ask for pizza and balloons. Nunez is being played badly by the WH, but is too stupid and too dazzled by all the attention he is getting to understand how dangerous a game he is playing with real BIG laws. I'm a lawyer, and by BIG, I mean BIG, SCARY laws that carry long Federal Prison sentences. He's in way over his simple head.
It's getting difficult to keep score on just who is being investigated or fired, or is committing felony crime all over the place. I can't wait to see the sting-type, coordinated arrest of Trump, Nunez, Bannon, Jared, etc. all in different locations at the same time ala The Godfather. (Without the shootings.)
As I've said every time, I think Nunes is more than just a toady talking a fall here. I think that he's wrapped up in the overall conspiracy. He was on the transition team. The only way Trump lets people get that close is if he can compromise them to secure their loyalty. IOKIYAR is strong though. Unless the whole Trump cabal goes down, I don't think Nunes will get in trouble. Trump could simply pardon him too. That said, I hope they all go to "federal fuck-me-in-the-ass prison".
The Twitters is abuzz with newz of a slew of organized crime arrests in DC that had the "people on the hill running around like their asses were on fire" or some such. Something something Felix Sater - Trump ties. What's up? Am I just too far in a Twitter rabbit hole right now?
Nunes is such a complete fool. He's bound to be incredibly surprised when he ends up being hauled away in handcuffs.
Still LYING about the Clintons, even. REALLY pathetic.
MOVIE QUOTE TIME!

I loved Lawrence O'Donnell bitching about how badly done this coverup was. Just making people MORE interested and angry.
Wert?

He's in a red district, but his local paper isn't happy right now. Might get primaried.
His ongoing hatred of Trump keeps me warm.
... he always skips leggings day.

I rather like our populist corruption when it's done right.
