I'm fine with drag queen, but i feel there's a performative element to being in drag - I don't wear drag all the time, and when i do I'm inhabiting a persona, a character almost. In comparison, transvestite works for a cis male who dresses as a woman. It is kinda pejorative though, i think cross dresser or gender bender are better. Or just a person, because clothes are clothes and who cares if he prefers to wear lace and make up?
