Also: NO publicly funded provider will recommend inpatient treatment for marijuana use. No state will fund it either.

Also: I have had it with judges not recognizing medication assisted opioid treatment as TREATMENT and instead choosing to misinterpret it as additional drug use. Do they shame diabetics for using prescribed insulin?

Only since 1869. Prior to the First Vatican Council the pope was just a man, a very powerful one, but just a man. That was when the Doctrine of Papal Infallibility was invented, which I suspect is going to be repudiated soon since it's limiting the Church's ability to adapt to modern life. Francis for example wants to allow birth control, but prior declarations make that difficult.
