I cannot wait until she disappears. With votes.

She also said Biden should "compromise" with Tuberville (who she referred to with his preferred friendly nickname of "Coach") on travel necessary for members of the military to obtain abortion services. What a two faced creep

Sinema is one of those Greens who believes Democrats are worse than GOP. But she does realize there's no upside to her becoming a GOP so it's no wonder she decided to call herself "independent".

I don't think she believe anything, really. No one can vote yes on Trump judges and yes on Biden judges and claim to have any coherent ideology at all.

I don't think anybody here has any delusions about who Sinema is. ALL of her votes are decided by her lobbyist handlers. They probably just send her a list.

"But, hey, she’s at least voted for President Joe Biden’s pro-choice judges. Yes, she has. Unfortunately, she also voted for most of Donald Trump’s anti-choice, forced-birth hack judges. She likes voting for judges the way I enjoy collecting Starbucks You Are Here mugs."

That's some throwback shit. The old approach was for senators to confirm p. much whoever the president nominated so long as they had the credentials, intelligence, and competence to do the job. And, you know, they weren't segregationist pieces of shit with powerful enemies like Clement Haynsworth and Harrold Carswell. It was no secret what type of justice Antonin Scalia would be, but he got confirmed 97-0.

But the days of giving little or no consideration to nominees' viewpoints on substantive issues are long gone, and should be. I didn't really need another reason to dislike everyone's favorite starry-eyed hippie turned staunch hedge fund defender, but here's another reason just the same.

Manchin is different from Sinema for me bc Sinema was elected in a clear Blue Wave where “Resistance” to Trump’s agenda was a big theme. That would demand that elected Dems actually resist, especially since stacking the courts with hacks was a main goal of the GOP

Exactly so! Doing what the voters sent her there to do, at least in part, would gone a very long way. Few things frost my ass more thoroughly than a legislator patting her constituents on the head and saying, "Now don't you worry your pretty little heads over all this policy stuff; I know better than you, and will vote the right way on all issues."

Noted paleontologist Jeffery Epstein...

The Daily Beast:

RFK Jr. flew on Epstein’s private jet for "fossil hunting" trip.

“It was before anybody knew about Jeffrey Epstein’s nefarious issues,” the independent 2024 hopeful said.

I’m taking issue with the “border crisis” comment. Lukeville border station is closed due to the overwhelming number coming to the US. This creates financial and other problems for those small communities. Meanwhile a few thousand are released into the city of Tucson because there’s no place to put people. Not great for Tucson and not great for the migrants either. It’s a real problem. If she’s concerned about it, she should quit online shopping and do something. My 82 year old mom, who lives near a park that holds a LOT of homeless people, has only so many blankets and excess jackets to give out.
