There was an article, I think on Salon, but I can't find it now, that said that listening to Russians speaking to Trump -- in Russian -- are very sarcastic and dismissive of the Orange Felon. They don't love him the way him loves them or thinks they love him. The Felon-in-Chief is stupid on a whole new level.

I don't know if Vladimir Putin has any traces of 'lovable-rascal villain' in real life (I'm just talking about personality - there's nothing 'lovable' about blowing up Ukrainian schools and hospitals), but I know he can't be further from that kind of persona than Donald Trump is.

Trump doesn't know what it takes to be a real dictator. And I don't mean just the lack of bier hall rallys. Not enough people hate enough other people in this country to take to the ramparts and give their life for his hate. Lots of reasons.
Lack of numbers and they are not different enough with really no personal grudges.
Take Peter the Great. He was able to unite most of the Russians that had been under rule of the Golden Horde for over 200 years. Mongols.
The Mongols were very different from the people in the Balkans to the Caucasus.
Race, culture, language, religion, history, values. All they could do was fight and kill.
Which they did very well. For quite a while.
So Peter took that hate and kicked them out.
But when Trump had the chance to do America First and lead soldiers into battle to prevent SE Asian rice farmers from becoming Communist, what did he do?
Caught a bad case of bone spurs !
The people he hates today have done nothing but good for us. And have the same values, same culture, mostly same religion, and support the country. What's to hate ?
