An old friend insisted on coming up and sharing Thanksgiving with me. I didn't even try to wiggle out of it, just said sure, come on up. She drove more than 300 miles to get here, we fought the whole time, but we baked a turkey, by fuck.

DanaโFarber has had one for quite a while. I don't think they doing any harm with what's described, especially if it keeps some frightened patients from rejecting traditional treatments.
It's a mixed bag, as most pharmaceuticals are rated "effective" if they work slightly better than the placebo effect and most of the integrative treatments aren't like dosing yourself with ivermectin they generally work on the placebo effect. No one dies because they got acupuncture or reiki, and some get relief from those treatments.
You know, my experience with electrolysis says endorphins kick in. With cutting too also. I think that's one reason bleeding might have lasted so long.
