The thing about the Mutiny on the Bounty tweet is that if you take out the first sentence, it almost makes sense from Trump's point of view: He figures that even if some governors are telling him to go piss up a rope now, eventually they'll need something they can only get from the Feds and they'll have to come crawling up to kiss his ring to get it, and he'll get to gloat. I think he just mentioned the Bounty because it was the first mutiny-themed movie that popped into his brain.
I remember that one and the "War is not healthy for children and other living things" poster that were in Mrs. Gordon's 4th grade classroom.
It's sad to think that if Mrs. Gordon was teaching now, wingnut parents would be shrieking for her head on a plate for the crime of having those posters up.
An even sharper reinterpretation of H. L. Mencken's: "No one in this world, so far as I know ... has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people."

Yes! I loved the teachers who did that, they were always so caring.
Sneeze in his face for good measure.
If I was infected I would gladly shake his hand.
Captain Bligh was a more sympathetic character.
He may be #1 of Facebook, but he'll always be #2 in my toilet.

Spot on.
Feet on the Resolute desk!
Trump’s presser today should be epic! I wonder if the press pool has an over/under on whose question will make Trump cry or pass out?
Sam Donaldson is at home, folding his arms and shaking his head.
