No, but he was already all there and then some ideologically. The SC seat got him in with the cool kids.

In CA, Everyone, Everyone Registered to Vote get a ballot MAILED to them. Californians primarly like voting by mail, which signficantly increases voter participation. In 2022, as many as 85% of all voters chose to vote by mail in CA. A few quaint polling locations are required for those who perfer to vote in person on voting day.And now you why voting in CA has expanded access, no contracted it.

A minor point. Yakutat Bay is not on Kodiak Island nor is Hubbard Glacier. Both are in SE Alaska about 200 miles north of Juneau. So they went fishing there too.

When I was a wee non commenter-say back in 1956 or so, it was a regular summer thing to go out to Mendenhall Glacier north of Juneau and fish the bitty ice chunks out of the lake for use in ice chests. And in drinks since it’s highly compressed and takes a long time to melt. I will never defend these rich guy junkets but that’s all they did in this picture.

I’ve enjoyed many libations with glacier ice. No mineral taste, no lichen, no silt. The ice is so compressed it kind of effervesces.

All of these stories make me wonder if this is why SCOTUS declared that money is free speech?

While the Supreme Court Judges may not be under oath to be claiming these 'perks'... It seems as though the oath and rules they took/followed as lower judges should still apply. When you get a higher grade in government, you don't get a whole new set of rules. When you get into management, they don't think you need to be told to show up everyday. This is how maturity works. They have taken words and twisted them beyond belief. And feel that they have the right to do so. Much of business and government tests on the foundation that was built before. Not start over's Otherwise... We should have swearing in everyday...

I had to vote last time at a poll, because my ballot never came to me. In rural CA. A coworker put online today, (maga man), that we should go back to paper ballots to make sure there's no cheating... I thought they didn't want mail-in ballots?

That is what the EV manufacturers are saying, that interference from the drive train would be too much to cope with. No spark plugs, but far more power being switched.
