I still think Rambo is the gateway drug. These guys all think they're Rambo, Liam is an effete foreigner to them. He's way too sophisticated, and uses multi-syllabic words..

I've seen him on the Graham Norton show a couple of times, and not only is he easy on the eyes and have a terrific speaking voice, he's also surprisingly silly, which is a personality trait I like very much.

There is a convincing book on how the FBI operates . To get ahead you have to convict a terrorist . So find some lame blowhard and flatter him into thinking you believe he is Rambo reincarnated . Provide him with some quasi military material . Then arrest him and wait for the courts to put him in gaol for twenty years . Certainly there are a lot of people ready to be ' caught ' as terrorists but precious few who would execute the ' plan ' . The bunch in Michigan probably wanted only to talk big but might just have been steered into some botched action by their FBI ' comrade ' .

Guns, or the culture that goes with them? I'll understand either.

One of the people I know online is a gunsmith who just loved nerding out over the mechanics of firearms. She had to give up that part of her life as the culture at gun ranges got more and more insane and vicious. It hurt her a lot.

Especially since Putin has walked right in without firing a shot, thanks to his friendship with Tovarich Donald and Comrade Mitch.

I don't absolutely hate guns. They have their uses in a few, limited circumstances.

However, I haven't handled a firearm since I wore an Army uniform (way many years ago.) I don't own one or want to own one because I know what they can do and have no reason to use one.

Militias endgame of overtaking the government has been obvious for a long time. Aggressive gun holders have little to fear from thieves - doorbell cameras have neutralized that threat. That thief excuse is held tightly as cover for their wet dream of violent unrest.

You should see an Amphicar trying it.

Wait, if they overthrow the government and form their own, what's to stop them from being overthrown? Its a never ending circle of stupidity

We need to put a full stop to these threats

My plus 70 year old mum heard the terrorist group had wolverine in the name and said that Hugh Jackman should kick their arses. I was so proud.

So, all the Anarchists got together to argue over what kind of government they weren't going to have once they had the Revolution.

I've commented already, but since then I've read more and seen more footage of these guys. It absolutely amazes me that they were allowed to stay in the gallery. There's at least half dozen instances where there was a total lack of muzzle or trigger discipline. Translation: This could've gone horribly wrong if one of those assholes had sneezed.

Muzzle control is sort of what it sounds like--it's one of the basic Four Rules, never point your firearm--even if you believe it to be unloaded--at anything you're not willing to destroy. Failure to maintain muzzle control (or worse, "sweep" someone or plural someones with your muzzle) is an instant disqualifier in competition.

As for me, you sweep me once, I tell you that you fucked up. Sweep me again, and it's intentional--my better angels had better be on guard, because my first instinct is to disarm you by whatever means necessary.

Trigger discipline is another of the basic Four Rules, keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire. Otherwise, your finger should be "indexed", or straight along the barrel. Again, another disqualifier in competition. In shooting circles, there is no such thing as an "accidental" shooting. Only "negligent discharge"--failure somewhere, often here.

It probably says a lot about me that my first thought upon seeing the now infamous "Talbots Bonnie and Clyde" picture taken in in St. Louis was, "Well, at least his finger is indexed WHAT THE FUCK IS SHE THINKING?" .

Trigger discipline isn't something you should have to think about. It's so ingrained in people who don't like to stand in their front yards brandishing weapons that we literally can't not do it.

Those assholes should have been cleared the second one muzzle swept the floor. And for the apologists saying maybe these idiots wanted to "talk" (among the milder suggestions), fuck you and the horse you came in on. Clear the floor, then deploy flashbangs and clear the gallery as soon as legislators and staff are out of harm's way.

Okay, done ranting.
