President Barack Obama spoke for nearly an hour Wednesday in Flint, Michigan, on the city's water crisis, reassuring residents that filtered water is safe to drink, encouraging them to get their children tested for lead, and promising that the state and federal government would provide help in replacing the city's water lines.
Well, I did a quick google and that was one estimate I saw, from February. Maybe that was just the mains or something, or they were lowballing for some reason. Still, the basic point stands, I think, no matter how high an estimate you want to use, it's nothing compared to DoD expenditures that don't get a second thought.

Without the Medicaid "Well Baby" program, I would have almost certainly lost mrs ged and the gedlet. Sure, my parents would have sacrificed their retirement to pay our medical bills, but we wouldn't have had the preventative care that saved their lives.
