I'll be honest-if I had to be getting into a fight with somebody I'd rather it would be with people like Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh or Tucker Carlson. I'm no kind of badass but I doubt if I'd even break a sweat.

I don't know if I'd fuck with Charlie Kirk , though. That weird little face of his scares me.

And lordy it's a knock-down drag-out fight he barely wins.

It ain't "Identity" politics when you consider yours to be the default identity.

I have a problem. I think that the bold and fearless attitude of facing life is admirable, as is the gentle offerings of love, a habit of insightful observations of life and fellow humans in particular, and so on. We can't be all of them, and there are perfectly nice and responsible people who who are not outstanding in any way.

So, I do like to see tough and heroic people here and there. But there are women who are these things, and I don't see why males who are tough should be admired but not women. Women have been pirates, soldiers, firefighters, cops, etc., and I admire those who are. I don't see how "machismo" can be seen as a male-only thing, except by insecure wimps like Crummy Lover Shapiro and Fishstick Carlson.

Any society organized around pretty much endless war doesn't have a long-term future.

The 10th Mountain Division (LI) was the most deployed Army division to both Afghanistan and Iraq. Many of the soldiers I met from the 10th (I live near Fort Drum) had seen as many as five trips to both theaters.

As opposed to Ben, who would probably crap his drawers at the thought of going to an Army-Navy store.
