   Oh, God, can you even believe that more primaries are happening? When will America's suffering end? Today's victims are in Washington state and Wyoming. Washington has a savage, out-of-control "jungle primary" that will almost certainly result incumbent Democratic Senator Patty Murray facing off against Republican Dino Rossi, who lost the last two gubernatorial races. In Wyoming, literally twelve different people want to be governor, for some reason. How good a gig can being governor of Wyoming be, honestly?[ CNN ]

• You know how sometimes you can search everywhere for something but it turns out to be somewhere really obvious? That's how it was with the CIA's tapes of the interrogation of Ramzi Binalshibh, conducted with the help of Moroccan security forces. They swore it was gone forever -- literally swore, to a Justice Department prosecutor -- but then they found it under somebody's desk. That was in 2007. Then they waited another three years to tell anybody. This doesn't seem suspicious at all. [ WP ]

• The Minerals Management Service is no longer going to do that thing where it allows you to drill without filing an environmental impact report so long as someone else has filed a report for an area sort of like the one where you want to drill.
