On Wednesday's "The O'Reilly Factor," Bill O'Reilly had himself a good kvetch about Black Lives Matter and how MAD he is that it even exists. Now he is accusing the movement of basically murdering people in the streets, because poor police officers are so scared they might actually murder an innocent unarmed black person that they cannot do their jobs. And what kind of way is that to live! What if a really dangerous black person is mixed up among all the innocent black people, and then they get away? Isn't it better just to shoot first and answer questions later?
Saw a clip of Drumpf claiming you can't be great if you aren't rich.. "Sorry to tell you...." I now understand the importance of assassination as a tool for stability.
Is it too much to hope that the snarky spinner will sink into a depressive death spiral and stop killing people (in those terrible books), as well as stop trying to impose his ignorance upon others?
White veterans of George Washington's Continental Army violently took up arms in protest, strutting around with guns and talking big about how the gubmint done them wrong. (Sound familiar?)
White males to the last man, they took over part of Massachusetts until they were suppressed. Their rebellion, rooted in economic poverty, was one of the motivating factors for the Constitutional Convention.
(BTW- Gore Vidal wrote a worth-the-time-to-find-and-read essay titled "Homage To Daniel Shays" back in 1972 which sheds some light on our current election. Saint Gore has been dead for awhile but his words still ring!)
