Some Safire guy is retiring. Hope it's not the one who makes that tasty gin.

UPDATE: Gin is fine! It's that guy who made the world (or the NYT, whatever) safe for David Brooks. He's leaving. Now it will be so much easier to tell your non-threatening conservatives apart.
