From what I heard from the legal eagles on MSNBC last night...Judge Kaplan was able to shield the jurors in the E. Jean case (remember, he basically told them, 'go home and never admit to anyone that you served on this case') because it was a federal civil trial. This is apparently much more difficult to do in a NYS criminal case. I hope to gawd Judge Marchan can accomplish this though.
