BREAKING: Gore Refuses to Take Credit for Something

The Knoxville News reports that last Saturday, Al Gore chartered a private jet and personally assisted in the evacuation of 140 New Orleans hurricane survivors, most of them in need of medical attention. Why haven't you heard about this? "Former Vice President Al Gore arranged the flight and was on board, but he declined to take credit for the airlift, fearing it would be 'politicized.'" In order to make sure the event escaped notice, Gore broadcast the airlift on his network.

We kid. Wonder how Gore got the idea that taking credit for something could be politicized.
