While I agree with you on principle, the problem is that because the Repubs have pushed so many EXTREME right idealogues onto the court, the only real way to balance it would be for as many very liberal Dems as possible to be on the court just to turn the country back from being a fascist state to at least a moderate one.

Actually, it has been known for years, well before 2016, that he is known to be a germophobe, so he likely has been washing his hands and elsewhere for years. However, his narcissism seems to be at work in his desire to not wear a mask.
The blame really lies with the prosecutors who effed up by not charging them with the more obvious and easier-to-prove crimes of “extreme stupidity and assholism”, that Connie and Raymond Marbles were convicted of by Divine’s kangaroo court in “Pink Flamingos”, a movie I have never seen (twice), and neither has anyone else who comments here.
Evil people do usually pay, in the end. Not always, because this isn’t the movies. But I still feel better believing that. Plus, at least these terrible people had their deeds and dark souls on full display in a trial, which is hella invasive and exposing. Bet her smug emails didn’t feel as funny on full display in open court. Then again, evil people enjoy re-living their deeds. Look at the Nuremberg trial.
