There are arguments, and some data, that CHEMICAL castration blunts the sex drive just enough to prevent pedophiles from reoffending. There are also arguments that the methodology is flawed and that the sample of offenders choosing chemical castration are a self-selecting group of less determined predators who would not have reoffended anyway.
In any case, you don't go mutilating people, not even to protect others, and ESPECIALLY if you're not even sure if it's gonna protect anyone, anyway.
I tend to write a lot of stories that include gender transformations, usually through magic or other means. And while I tend to focus more on erotica, I’m suddenly feeling inspired to write a horror themed variant of the idea. Perhaps a, “psycho” targeting anti-trans bigots at various levels of celebrity, forcibly changing them with the true horror coming when they have to navigate the personal hell they’ve made trying to fix themselves?
Why are conservatives so scared of lgbtqia+ people? They are damaging perhaps even killing these kids because they are so fucking hysterically scared. Medicate all conservatives and watch how much better society functions.
They're not scared of LGBTQ people. Conservatives are bullies and cowards, and trans kids and people are the latest powerless group they can terrorize so they're brain-dead supporters can feel something akin to pleasure.
Because it might be their kids, which would mean it might also be them, and everything they have been burying and hiding from, especially from themselves, will come leaping out of the dark and they will not be able to say "It's not my fault."
