Of course it's not true. They don't have "proms" in France.

Ironically, this is the first honest thing I have heard from a Trumpanzee.

Should we start a collection to get him to vote with the Democrats?

China - one party dictatorshipUS - two party dictatorship

Me thinks we need some changes such as preference polling, term limits, campaign finance reform, dumping the electoral college, and national ballot initiatives. That would hopefully give some influence back to the common surf and perhaps even increase the diversity of critters in congress. I would like two or more parties, such that no one party could actually achieve a majority. That would either give us an everlasting stalemate or the critters might learn how to compromise.

I share that fear. The Republicans seem to have engaged Warp 8.

There is an unsubstantiated rumor that an unidentified Republican congressman stopped at a crosswalk to allow an elderly woman to cross the street on Aug. 14, 2011.

That is an outrageous falsehood!

I am not so sure that term limits are a good idea.

Yeah, some fossils (hint: Strom Thurmond) remain in office.

On the other hand, sweeping out the experienced hands in favor of inexperienced hands can be a disaster.

With Trump dismantling the "deep state" of competent professionals, do we really need to apply that same standard to elective offices?

I cannot commit either way. It was just something I once read on the internet.
