Bush Gets an Impishly Fun Rubdown
Two weeks ago, in a USA Today story about controversial questions in the White House press room, NY Times attack dog Elisabeth Bumiller told less rabid journos how she do: "It's not my job to be popular, it's my job to get good answers from the president and generate some news." Today in the Times, the tough-minded muckraker tackles a subject everyone else has been too cowardly to ask: Why is George W. Bush so upbeat, happy, and relaxed? Answer: a big part is the Sunday afternoon massages. CODE RED: Bush is also "an impishly fun, very clever guy."— GREG BEATO
