Salon's been trumpeting their latest iteration of the "mystery hump" story, this time going to a NASA scientist for "analysis." Dr. Robert M. Nelson, they are careful to note, is no cat-toting, pajama-clad blogger: "He's a senior research scientist for NASA and for Caltech's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and an international authority on image analysis. Currently he's engrossed in analyzing digital photos of Saturn's moon Titan, determining its shape, whether it contains craters or canyons." And what ultra-high tech research tool has Dr. Nelson employed? Uhm. . . Photoshop. It must be that special NASA edition of Photoshop.

If Bob Dole had had bulge story that lasted this long, Viagra would need a different spokesman.
