It is the ultra-right-wing conservative Republican wingnuts who have made being transgender a hot issue lately, not the Democrats. And it IS currently a major political issue, therefore it is entirely appropriate for Wonkette to positively affirm a trans woman's political candidacy. Why do you have a problem with this? If you want intellectualism, go read the Christian Science Monitor.

Hey there chucklefuck! The constitution also protects your right to come here and spread lies and spin jobs. Doesn't make it true, and it won't protect you from the ban hammer. The vile little snark mob is not made of goats, but we still hate trolls.

Or to marginalize someone who comes to a site that is trans friendly, calls a m2f a guy, and then acts like we are trans hating dicks because we don't believe that Democrats are using trans people because they took exception to republicans trying to legislate poopy time. You aren't fooling anybody.

I'd be fine if we can get most of the other douche-canoes out of the Senate- it's like sending your child (who's a little different) off to elementary school and having all the other kids bully the fuck out of her. Good luck, Misty (you're gonna need it).

Last paragraph, Evan segued into "other transgender news," about a candidate (also named Misty) in CO-5.

Then you were abused and I'm sorry you experienced that. No one should have to go through that. Truly, you now have my sympathy and thanks for being bold enough to share that.

I'm probably going to regret asking. But how in hell have evil liberals "used" trans people in "arguments against the constitution"? Seriously, that one's a puzzler.

Also, if you reply "I'm not going to do your research for you, go Google it," you'll be banhammered for flagrant and deliberate violation of Rule 5. See, there's the link right there.

Actually, the First Amendment protects Wonkette's right to publish whatever it wants (libel, child porn, and Twilight fanfic excluded). Comments are subject to the discretion of the publisher, which is why no one has a "right" to comment here if they violate our commenting rules or make themselves unwelcome. This is why I love deleted commenters' whining about our disregard for free speech.

You are aware that no one disagrees with you on the point that the First Amendment, Crom bless it, protects Free Speech. People are disagreeing with you about nearly everything else you wrote.

Considering the long coattails that Hillz will provide, she has a shot. Imma gonna donate to her campaign.

You know, I banned James, then unbanned James in hope that I might get an answer to my question about how supporting a trans candidate (or anything else in Evan's article) argues against the Constitution. So far, James communicates only in seriously weird generalizations.

Agree, which is why I unbanned James.
