You mean they are as open to learning something about the world around him as the Democratic Party constituents are the body politic and political science?

We will need them.

I sometimes fantasize about being in a room with djt, who has been shackled and securely duct-taped to a chair. Oh, and a baseball bat is present, too. And I take swing after swing at him until he admits that he was wrong about ____ and ____ and _____ and ____ ....

So.... should we bring back Miltown and Quaaludes? I *might* be able to deal with my brain if we do that? I'm sorry to be like this, I have mental health issues already and if I have to do this, I want it as numb as possible. I'm not going to do anything super dumb, but I don't think I can get through this 100% sober.

I read this article twice and still can't decipher what this writer's message is here. She's all over the place. For one-- colloidal silver does NOT make you turn blue. The writer is referring to a very, very rare thing called argyria which only happens when you try to make your own "moonshine" colloidal silver out of your kitchen sink and drink gallons of it for years. Who does that?!

Colloidal silver is very safe and has been used for many generations globally. It's amazing for immune support and also is amazing for skin cuts, scrapes, burns, rashes, insect bites, dry skin and more.

Lastly- Trump/Vance is going to put Kennedy in a key cabinet position to help straighten out our very fat, disease-ridden and unhealthy U.S. population we are. We are what we eat and it starts there. Compare our obese population vs the rest of the world. Supplements, reduced processed foods and cutting back on habitual medications is a great start. Let's go!

He can’t legally be appointed to a cabinet position but laws I’ve never been constraint with this crowd. That is something that the Democratic constituency doesn’t understand. Most of what RFK says concerning healthcare and our food business toxic from input to product is correct.

Too bad this Trumpanzee appears to know fuck-all about fuck-all!

"set up more infrastructures that are separate from the federal government and that will ensure people are okay and safe and cared for regardless of who is elected."

I 100% support this. We need to take care of each other. For now you can still crib notes from the EU food safety authority, but eventually we should want an entirely people-run food safety advisory.

Safe and high-quality tax and free nutrient dense food is easy to acquire. If you don’t grow it yourself, know the first name of the person who did, you’ll be fine.

Y’all idiots speak as if the production model and its oversight we have now is somehow legitimate. ffs

I’m so sorry for all of this btw. The FDA thing is horrific. It would be like someone taking an axe to NHS England for us

Expand full comment
Hudson E Baldwin lll's avatar

No. The FDA is a corporate rubberstamp anyway. A parody of itself. A corporate captured department of federal government existing only to promote the corporate agenda. Get a grip

Mr Hudson, why don’t you take your position up with your fellow Americans? Some of them would disagree with you. It doesn’t affect me one way or another. However, wherever I am, I would like to have a government body that oversees what goes into the food I eat and the pharmaceuticals I consume. And my mistake, the equivalent body in the U.K. is DEFRA

Your misunderstanding the dynamic that exists here. They are corporate rubber stamps. They aren’t representing health or quality food. That’s what you’re missing.

I don’t give a shit about opinions. Politic is about policy. Fact, that’s why it’s a science. Opinions yours or mine or anyone else’s for that matter have any business in the body politic. Why did you take the time to inform me that it doesn’t matter to you, it doesn’t matter to you? Go the fuck away

I’m so far as pharmaceuticals are concerned, if RFK really does take a wrecking ball to the FDA, use British GOV.UK websites for drug information. The British National Drug Formulary is the gold standard and NICE is the go to for everything else. As for food regulations all I can say is, eat as little meat as possible or not at all grow your own vegetables, source from local good producers wherever possible. A lot of people are going to be hurt by this, so form your communities and look after each other

You can eat meat. Just make sure it’s quality product. Leading a natural and moral existence. #CertifiedOrganic and local best identifiers.

Addendum: Start getting in the habit of washing your vegetables and fruit if you aren't already doing that. It prevents a lot of issues.

Or if you can't, find a participating Community Supported Agriculture farm and buy a share (or a half share, depending on your numbers) in a weekly bunch of organic produce... and learn to preserve it for when growing season is done.

Not just for yourself, also for your neighbours :) In my experience growing vegetables means you either have not enough or too much of each crop, so share the abundance :) And if your neighbours do the same, then your abundances and their abundances will often fill each other's gaps.

I'm not at all ashamed of saying that I think anyone who voted for trump a third time should be denied medical care. They've earned everything they get, and as the world gets objectively better every time one of them kicks it.

Given how gerrymandered and fucked our system is, a Republican mass extinction is probably the only way we're going to even have a chance of fixing things anyway.
