Oh what joy spread across the desiccated carcass of the once-great British Empire and her former colonies yesterday with the most anticipated birth since that geeky weirdo, whathisname, knocked up that hot girl on “Friends.” There were hosannas and fireworks and countless terrible jokes tweeted out and posted on countless Facebook feeds. Here at theHall of JusticeWonkette World Headquarters there were blingees and much drinking, though to be fair that would have happened anyway, for Monday was a “day” on the “calendar” by which humans organize the “time-space continuum.”
Judging by the way he has to fold himself into quite a twist to argue that there is something unfair about the wealthy receiving better care, obviously he's a fan of Tanner's Own™ Testicle Tea.
Actually, Tony Bliar floated the idea of using the US health system as a model for NHS reforms, until he went deaf from all the people screaming "FUCK YOU YOU FUCKING FUCK" at him.
Yeah, the rich in Britain get to buy their way into private waiting lines which are much shorter than NHS waiting lines, even though they often share facilities and staff. But get this: because the private practices have to pay the NHS for those facilities, and because the rich still pay the taxes which fund the NHS, the effect to the non-rich of the rich buying access is not longer lines at all, it's more funds for the NHS, and if anything the NHS lines are shorter because the rich aren't in them. It's a win-win.
Oh and BTW, I've waited in the ER in both an NHS hospital and a small handful of American hospitals. The NHS waiting time was much shorter than almost all of my American experiences.

Oh Mary, judging by the leathery skin, that's a methed-up fisting queen with a summer share at Fire Island right there!
For the rest of the day I'm going to be reading wonkette with the voice of the superfriends narrator in my head. " rel="nofollow noopener" title="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1xtpsY0_LI">http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Thank you. Sincerely.
We much prefer a system that ensures the birth of a baby, but cares little about the same child's potential starvation.
What about being named after a minor figure in a notorious murder inquiry?
