Since Godwin Himself has ruled on it, I'm going to go ahead and say I'll be really concerned when this admin says they're going to give everyone in the concentration camps showers.
"Why didn't President Trump and Leader McConnell do it?"
I complain often about the tendency the US media has for insisting on giving people titles, and how that jars with our British tendency of, you know, not doing that- but fucking seriously? You're dealing with a backlash over running literal concentration camps, and frequently exposed links between the President, the President's party and white nationalist/neo-Nazis and you don't think even for a second that "Leader" might be a fucking weird thing to call Senator Mitch McConnell?
I have never heard him referred to that way. I also have a problem with people continuing to refer to former presidents and governors and ambassadors by their former titles. A former president is Mr. as far as I'm concerned. I'm a retired NCO, but I don't want people to call me Sergeant.
Personally, I'm cool with it, because the Party of Personal Responsibility keeps trying to dodge any responsibility for what they do (or don't do) when they have power. So let's remind people who has the power.
But it doesn't work. It's like Kentucky Colonels, people note the title and the accompanying respect but they never actually hold them to account. When was the last time you saw any Kentucky Colonels demoted or dishonourably discharged? Which leads to a disgusting joke about what's in KFC gravy, but that's for another time.

I know he is Senate Leader, but really.
Hey, look how efficient his team is. The article says they corrected the spelling of his name in under an hour!
I’ve posted this before, but that won’t stop me from posting it again.
Our county Rethiglican Party’s fancy schmancy annual party’s theme in 2017 was “Unity Without Compromise.”
"Why won't you Democrats compromise and give the Republicans everything they want? Why must you be so extreme?"
-the press for at least the last ten years.
How hard is this? They know how much he loves K's.

it was a joke about discharge
maybe they meant to say Senate Leader, slipped up and then rolled with it for the sake of continuity? Or am I giving too much credit?
