I have, no kidding, never seen Jaws, the movie.

I read Peter Benchley's book when it first came out (almost entirely because he was a Benchley, so the odds seemed favorable) and it gave me nightmares.

I suppose I should gut it up in my old age and finally watch the movie on a big screen. When that becomes possible, if ever.

Because the curves look like a roller coaster with 3 peaks and we're heading up the climb to a 4th. Just because the car drops down to a valley doesn't mean that's the same level as the end of the ride.

When it's time, when Greta turns 18, she should be offered U.S. Citizenship, and a place in the Cabinet, with all powers available to front the Environment for the cause of Eco-friendly policies and statesperson status as such should have accorded to John Lennon, Frank Zappa.....

Time to differ.

More often than not, donations go mostly to the church'es interests. More than what goes to "community needs".

The Catholic Church being the greatest of interests, properties, etc...

They "sit on it", especially the mega-evangelicals.

Very little goes to charity.

I've never seen the movie. It was a big deal when I was a teen, and I was supposed to go with some other people, but I got my first job that weekend and never got around to it since.
