The Voight character is forever shoving his gun into the mouths of handcuffed suspects to force a confession, because he's just that tough.

I don't think any of these asswipes will be actually prosecuted when the regime changes. However, I do think that the majority of them will be laid off. Once out the door, they will find it impossible to get hired at anything to do with law enforcement, or really anything. Think of their resumes, "ICE agent." No one will want to touch them with a ten foot pole. Maybe they will be able to pick up landscape work by standing in the parking lot at Home Despot.
