It's such a radical concept.

There is something wrong with an interview where Andrea Mitchell appears to be the reasonable one.

I don't watch teevee (I don't have teevee), so my views of people like Chris Matthews largely come from places like Wonkette. This article forced me to google him, and I was somewhat amazed to discover a complete absence of nepotism (I kind of thought we were so many generations of "tv journalists" into it that it was all nepotism).

On the other hand, he appears to be a typical "centrist" with a side order of misogyny, so pretty much what I got from teh Wonk.

Jeez. There was so much I missed out on in my childhood.

I agree that it's ironic. And Matthews is clueless that it's ironic.

Ed has his moments, but overall he's way too much of a blind partisan cheerleader and loses credibility to anyone but the choir he is preaching to.

"Get out your cell phones, is the GOP the worst thing ever, or the absolute worstest thing ever? text now!"

the problem with Tweety isn't that he's a bad guy, it's just that occasionally he gets into the candy and sugary drinks and turns into Cornholio

Chris Matthews is awful. Not Sarah Palin™ awful or Louie Gohmert awful. But he is awful at his job. He's been coasting on reputation for a long time.

Constant interruptions. He doesn't prepare. Never has a coherent question ready to ask. Which leads him to babble for a while then say "your thoughts". Like Reagan, thinks movies are real life. Interrupts, usually when the guest is about to say something interesting. Focuses on artifice over substance. Mitt Romney's hair style; Sarah Palin's™ shoes. His show is so much better when he's not there. Did I mention the interruptions?

Especially if he would STFU.
