Also known as greed. (Psst. There is nothing remotely "Christian" about anyone who has ever voted Republican.

From the church's webpage:

>Our pastor enjoys almost all outdoor activities, especially water sports.

I'll bet he does...

“No parent would place an infant in daycare if they didn’t need to work,” said Kimberly Sprague, who has no child care for her infant daughter as of Aug. 4. “I just came back to work after maternity leave and I can’t find a place for my daughter. I don’t understand why he would do this. There are so many kids there. And the homepage of the church’s website talks about ‘serving the community.’ I’m just shocked.”

That part about thinking the church would serve the community? That was your first mistake, m'am.

A nice Christian mother shouldn't be working outside the home in the first place. Jehovah will provide, after all (except when he won't).

Reminds me of a boss I had who tried to require everyone to work a "compulsory volunteer" shift once a month on Saturdays. That shit did not fly.

I went to a Christian school that also had daycare. I also taught in a Christian school. Both were of the same ilk as this one. Your kid is better off almost anywhere else.

More evidence that Christianity is really just a gigantic grifting operation that wants to control every aspect of EVERYONE'S lives, whether you're a believer or not.

No wonder people are leaving in droves.

I'm ambivalent at best because all the parties are Trumpers. Still, I'm glad the press made this public. That grifter should be forced to tearfully apologize; much like Jimmy Swaggart did after being confronted for his many acts of sexual depravity. I believe that's one of the required courses in Preacher School. Or am I wrong?

I work in a church - hard to believe I know, especially if you follow my comments here. And while they ASK members to tithe a certain amount, no one is *required* to (tho if you want to be a godparent or best man, you'll need to flip in something. But seriously, a Jackson or two will do). But employees? Aw hell naw. And what I do when I leave work is none of their business. Attitudes like that are one reason I can stand to work there.

I'm suing a bikini barista business for (among other things) charging the employees $20 per day for the privilege of working. Yes, employees, not contractors.

Paying your employer to be employed is not how employment works, people.
